But his quiet life is thrown into turmoil when he begins receiving mysterious packages containing the severed body parts of people he used to know. These are followed by phone calls from a man he thought he had killed years ago, a serial killer who goes by the name of the Serenity Slayer.

Unsure what to do now that his past has turned up once again, Steven soon stumbles across a young man who appears to be the Serenity Slayer’s next intended victim. While distracted by this recent development, Steven returns home one night to find that the Serenity Slayer has viciously trespassed into Steven’s personal life. The police, convinced that he himself committed the crime, promptly arrest Steven. A lone detective believes in Steven’s innocence and sets out to prove it.

Together, Steven and his new ally join forces to bring the Serenity Slayer down. A desperate attempt by the Serenity Slayer on Steven’s life leaves him injured, but the two still manage to track the killer to a local church. There, the final explosive showdown begins.

A shocking tale of good versus evil, Victor Bradshaw is Dead will have readers on the edges of their seats until the very last page.

Not in Ma... Good little yarn all around. The only thing that knocked me all the way out of the story is that: with a buncha folks croaking that are supposed to have jobs requiring a fair bit of intelligence, i’d have up and done a runner about 3 chapters into the book. Still recommend.

I'm usually that reader who has the ending of the story figured out from the beginning. This was not the case with Victor Bradshaw is Dead. With so many twists and turns this book will keep you guessing and will keep you wanting more. There is never a dull moment in this plot making it absolutely impossible to put down and an ending you couldn't have seen coming. Hard to believe this is Ryan Davis's first novel.

Fantastic read with twists and turns that you never see coming. Ryan weaves an intriguing tale that keeps you on the edge of your seat and wanting to cheat by going to the end but you don't because you are afraid you are going to miss something spectacular. Look forward to more reads by an up and coming author Ryan Davis
