When you first look at this story you will think, oh no, not another rewrite of a classic tale. However, you would be mistaken. It has familiar names, a a small bit of that story's history, but that is all they share. This is a new and refreshing stand alone story, well worth the time it takes to become lost in the prose!

It is one of those stories you start, hope it gets better, and can't stop because you're hooked. I very much liked the re-weaving of the mythology of our world into the history of another. Keeping the connections alive, with an easy twist here and there, kept things fun and interesting. Like other reviews there were times I felt a good review and edit would help, but there was always enough anticipation to keep me going to the next page. A very easy read and a teaser for better things to come.

(In case the author actually reads these, please fix "effect other realms" to "affect" ;-)

I can’t even begin to describe how much I liked this book, but I’m going to try. I bought this novel because I love the Arthurian legends and will read almost anything with King Arthur in it. I was surprised by the other lore in the novel like Greek Mythology and it was refreshing to read a book where the fairy in the novel isn’t evil like what’s currently popular. The idea of a type of people called travelers who can travel between realms may sound a little cliché, but the author writes it in a way that it’s new and original. I could hardly put down this book for anything. Every time I tried, I found myself picking it back up to see what was going to happen next.

Kyah is such a real character. I felt like she was a person you could easily meet in real life. Her reactions to suddenly being placed into a different world were funny and realistic. I love the part where she has to get used to riding a horse for long periods of time and she describes walking bowlegged. It’s hilarious! The author does such a good job of describing the visual images of the novel that it made me feel as if I were there. The journey is unexpected and intriguing all the way through. This is now and forever will be one of my favorite novels!
