Dominic Baxter had a knack for it. He could always call a star.

For twenty years, dreamy hopefuls would make their way to his offices on Main Street and his house in the Hills – most went home disappointed, some got their fifteen minutes, and a few… a very, select few went on to fame. And Dom usually called it.

“Mr. Baxter, your eleven o’clock is here,” chirped Kyle – Dom’s new twenty-two year old executive assistant – one sunny September afternoon. Kyle was the son of a well-connected producer that Dom hired as a favor to a friend. He could scarcely stand the preppy little prick’s entitled attitude even if he enjoyed checking out his fresh collegiate pecs bursting out of tight polo shirts.

“Thank you, Kyle.” Dom replied. He had momentarily lost track of his appointments so he gazed at the door until he saw a handsome young man whose face struck him as vaguely familiar. He still couldn’t remember despite the sight of the face. But what a face!

The young man smiled and extended his hand earnestly as he approached Dom, “Mr. Baxter it is a pleasure to finally meet you. I am Peter Calvert.”

Dom looked at Peter’s extended hand, then at his face, then up and down at him.

Finally, Dom looked up at him with a questioning look, “Peter Calvert?”
