This book provides a good background about the spice turmeric. It provides information on the history of this amazing spice, and how it can be a vital spice for health and well being. It also includes some recipes to integrate turmeric into my diet. I highly recommend this book. For further study, References are provided at the end which supports the author’s findings.

I thought this was a well researched little book. It gave lots of information about the spice. The recipes provided used simple ingredients and I will definitely be attempting to make some of them.

This booklet is a good guide for a turmeric beginner: some background and some recipes to get started without being overwhelmed by facts or choice of recipes. I received this as a LibraryThing Member GiveAway.

Turmeric is a spice well known for its amazing healing qualities, widely used in eastern countries, but gaining wide popularity in the west. This book provides a lot of information on the benefits of using turmeric, and gives the history of this remarkable herb to reinforce the praises heaped on it. Helpfully, the author provides the reader with recipes to reinforce the many benefits of cooking with turmeric. He also gives information on various ways of adding turmeric to your diet in order to benefit from its healing qualities for various complaints. Turmeric is now widely available in most herbal shops, and therefore easier available than a few years back.
