Joan Fennell Carringer was born and raised in Pennsylvania but has lived most of her life in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina (the setting for most of her stories). She has always loved to write, ever since she could push a pencil across a sheet of paper, and over the years she's received several awards for her inspirational poetry, written many gospel songs, and published several inspirational fiction novels for children, teens and adults. All her stories have an exciting plot, laced with refreshingly clean romance - and some of them include encounters with angels.
