Double Cross leads on from Defector back in 1993 and I wanted there to be repercussions from within the CIA for the decisions and actions Flint had taken in Defector. Again, I've created a fast paced story with plenty of action to keep you wanting to find out what happens next. While in my past I'd spent quite sometime in the Ukraine, I'd never been to Luhansk where part of the story is set. However, I needed a city setting which was close to the Russian border (for obvious reasons when you read the story).I enjoyed writing Double Cross and by introducing the 'Torchbearers' for the conspiracy angle, I'm sure we'll see more of them as 'The Beginning' series develops. I hope you enjoy reading Double Cross and following Andy Flint.

Peter was born near Manchester in the North West of England. He studied Engineering at University where he joined the British Army.

During this time, he worked in Russia, Ukraine and a few other countries.

After reaching the rank of Major, he resigned his Commission and moved with his family to New Zealand where he led an active, outdoors life. However, a skiing accident released a lot of time. That’s how the writing started and allowed him to refocus and develop new skills.

Peter has written about Andy Flint, starting with The Beginning Series. These stories are initially set in 1993 and after the Beginning Series we move forward to find Andy Flint as he is today. A very different man.

Peter lives just outside Wellington, New Zealand. His kids have now left home leaving him with his wife and two mischievous Labrador's, Brecon and Pembroke.

Andy Flint Series is Great

Well written, only a very few typoes found. I enjoyed this book as the action with Andy was well written. Andy realizes that there may be a mole somewhere in his organization, and people around him keep getting killed. Again, Andy goes with his gut to uncover a plot with world changing consequences possible.
Next up, how will Andy decide one which path forward his future will take.
I highly recommend this series.
