My cousin published a book!?!

I admit I downloaded the book because my cousin wrote it. I don't have a child so I tried reading it to my dog, but she was more interested in licking the screen than listening. The rhymes made it an easy read and the drawings were great. I like how the big story was demonstrated in the background.I downloaded it to kindle app on my chromebook and some of the words were scrunched together. I don't know if it's possible to make double-page format so it looks like an open book. My download was single page and so you couldn't see the full drawing all together. I think the printed version would be a lovely gift to your favorite "little". My dog would just eat hers.

This is such a great illustration for children to turn to the Lord and pray when they know in their heart something is wrong. I love how as an adult reading the story it ties back to the rooster that crows three times before Peter denies Jesus. I think kids will remember the moral of this story and as they grow in the knowledge of the bible they will remember this book as a child. Great great read!

Wonderful concept 2 stories in 1

I like that in one children's book I have a story about the rooster that young kids immediately grasp. But that within the illustrations a second story from the Bible story is unfolding. So we can go back through the same kid's book and we have the illustrations for the bible story of when Peter denies Christ. And the stories overlap (when the rooster crows 3 times) BRILLIANT!
